Brydie Photography combines my experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to provide great wedding and portrait photos.
I’m living in Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty but I travel throughout New Zealand and beyond.

My approach is fun, relaxed and personal. The results are beautiful, professional images to cherish.

My enthusiasm for photography began while at Tauranga Girls’ College, I spent hours and hours in the darkroom and built my own one at home in an old caravan.
This obsession continued through my three year Media Arts Degree (photography major) at Wintec in Hamilton.
It was Waitomo News in Te Kuiti where I continued to learn about documentary photography and gave journalism a go.
The Mount and Papamoa Times took me on to take photos and write for awhile before I headed to the Whakatane Beacon.
All three newspapers  proved fantastic learning environments as each day brought new and often challenging topics to photograph.
On the weekends I began taking wedding photographs.
Travel has fed my inspiration and assignments for other newspapers and ACP Magazines have helped polish my skills.
It’s been nearly 20 years since my days at high school and my zest for photography has not waned – although I don’t shoot film as much these days…
